Team Layar was founded collectively in 2005/06.
We started out with a couple of old friends kicking soccer ball on a plain field near Layar LRT station (that was how Team Layar got its name).
Subsequently, friends of friends and residents in and around the Sengkang area join in the healthy kick-about sessions.
Today, Team Layar comprises of about 20 members in the Senior team and about 15 members in the junior team and counting still. Members continue growing due to the fact that the team adopts a fun and familiness culture.
Trust me, there is no pressure at all playing with this us. Everyone just play with a smile on their faces most of the time until the breath is taken away about 15 minutes or so.
We play either Saturdays or Sundays, 5.30 pm near the open field at Layar LRT Station at 11 Sengkang West Avenue Singapore 797700 (Fernvale). Join us, join us...don't shy lah! Just Come Out and Play. |
