In the Qualifying Division, Newton Heath eeked out a narrow 1-0 success against Japanese outfit J-Heat to leapfrog into the much coveted third place in the table for the first time this season and keep their Premier Division qualification hopes alive.

Elsewhere, Schwarz Star FC were back to winning ways after defeating the luckless Happyfeet FC 4-2, consigning the Penguins to their tenth league defeat of the season and leaving them with only the EFL Cup to play for this season.
