OPOD News Center - Kallang C.S. were dumped out of the D2D Sun 9am League Cup in sensational fashion after losing a penalty shootout to Div 3 minnows Club De Futbol. The match had ended in a 2-2 draw with Kallang unable to find their way past a stubborn CDF defence. CDF's change in fortune in the past 2 months have been telling and this victory extended their undefeated run to 6 matches in all competitions.

In another upset, Div 3 runaway leaders fell shockingly to Sambal SK after being held to a draw at full-time and lost 1-0 in the subsequent penalty shootout. This is sweet revenge for Sambal as they had lost both their previous encounters in the league to AFC.

St 21 were put to the test by EEFC but still manage to scrap a 3-2 win to move on to the next round. Team Poom, Morning Glory, Marine Devils, and Galatico Empire FC were the other teams to make it to the 2nd round of the D2D Sun 9am League Cup.
