With Alexandra B mauling bottom table strugglers Staff/PCM 7-1 previously, Tanjong Pagar & Changi knew they had to obtain a massive result against the latter to win the League Title on superior goal difference. Tanjong Pagar & Changi lifted up to expectations as they put up a scintillating display, annihilating Staff/PCM 13-0.
It was sweet revenge for Tanjong Pagar & Changi as they finished as runners up to Staff/PCM in the previous season. The reigning League Champions endured a disastrous season as they finished bottom of the league, losing all their games in the process.
