Victory Arena – Questra Vipers have been hit by news that star defender Chow Yong Han could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines if preliminary diagnosis that the 26 year-old has suffered damage to his ACL is proven to be accurate.
Yong Han, who has been a mainstay in the Vipers’ back four since making his league debut on 2 August 2008, has long been touted as the most consistent player in the Vipers’ setup and would be sorely missed should he be ruled out for any significant length of time.
The player suffered the injury during last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Club M at Dunearn secondary, in a match which also saw another player, Eng Szewei, suffer a knee injury and was later taken to hospital. The Vipers will wait on the news of Yong Han’s scan next week with baited breath.
