D2D Sunday 9am League Weekly Preview

OPOD News Center - Div 1 Champions Nautical FC is looking to end its abysmal start to the season with the team having rested for 2 weeks and are up against bottom of the table club Pink Dolphin Utd this weekend. While the long campaign last season has sapped much of Nautical's energy, there can be no more excuses for the champions as the break should have revitalized them.

New boys X-S FC will square up against promoted side 79ers, who have clearly adjusted to life better in the top flight than Euphoric Espada FC. While EEFC were the champions of Div 2 last season, they are struggling to adapt and are winless after 6 games; a statistic they'll aim to change come this weekend's match against fellow promotes VOFM.

Division 2: Top 2 vs Bottom 2

Early season front runners Torpedo Rovers FC and Marine Devils will look to extend their lead at the top of the table as they face off with bottom dwellers Club De Futbol and Team Poom respectively. The Rovers will reach their halfway mark of the season this weekend and are already looking like winning the title with games to spare.

Division 3: Top of table clash

It may be early days in the season but Galatico Empire FC square off against Chinatown FC in a potential title decider this weekend. Morning Glory FC will be the first to reject such a notion as they are the team who have dropped the least points thus far. A win this weekend against Bo Chap FC will see them move up the table and should GEFC and Chinatown play to a draw, MGFC will go top.
