Yusof Ishak Secondary School – Vipers AS slump continued with a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Hibernians Legends.
Vipers AS again started the game with less than a full eleven, this time with nine at kick-off time. The lack of preparation was apparent as the team conceded within the first minute, allowing Hibs to put in a low cross from the right touch line, and with nobody to contest the cross, their striker had all the time in the world to slot the ball under Jason and into the net.
Vipers AS regrouped and fared a lot better for the rest of the first period with the late arrivals of players, but a combination of disappointingfinal ball and poor finishing meant Hibs maintained their 1-0 lead at half time.
Vipers AS continued the attack in the second half, but it was a game where the team obviously left their shooting boots at home, as chances after chances was missed.
Hibs managed to play it tight at the back, and put the game beyond Vipers reach when they capitalized on two defensive errors by Vipers AS to go 3-0 up, leaving Vipers AS with their third league defeat of the QD campaign.
Vipers AS man-of-the-match : Muhamad Sarif – fighting spirit underlined the team’s effort despite the defeat.
