OPOD News Centre – It was expected to be an exciting FA Cup final where both Fake Madrid FC and Armanis FC are going all out to score goals. However, a cautious performance by a disciplined Fake Madrid’s backline saw them take the 2011 FA Cup with a solitary winner. It came after 13 minutes in the first period when a nice cross from playmaker Alam via an indirect free kick found a decisive Md Elfi who sent the ball into the back of the net with a glancing header.
This early deficit prompted Armanis FC to come out of the blocks by adopting an ultra offensive formation with less than 4 defenders at the back. Eventually, thanks to a stellar and effortless showing from FMFC’s custodian and their backline, the ESPZEN’s Saturday League prevailed and captured their first trophy of 2012.
