OPOD News Center - CU FC were left reeling from their latest defeat as they crashed to a 3-1 defeat against 3rd from bottom TL FC, who managed only their 2nd win of the season.
An open game which saw both teams create chances throughout the game, TL were the more clinical team who managed to finish their opportunities. TL were the first off the mark but CU equalized midway through the first half. TL then scored 2 goals in quick succession of which the first was an exquisite volley which had both sides applauding the effort. No goals were scored the second half and TL walked away proud winners.
At Hougang, title challengers F17 Rangers shot themselves in the foot when only 6 players turned up for their match against Reds FC and had to surrender a 3-0 walkover as they did not have the minimum requirement of 7 players for the game to commence.
Rendezvous FC remained perched on top of the table after a comfortable 2-0 victory over East Horizons FC and are now 6 points clear of their nearest challengers Tusser Rangers Senior who have a game in hand.
