Victory Arena - Questra Vipers are through to the knock out stages of the 2009 -2010 EFL Cup, thanks to British Club First XI's 2-1 victory over OCBC in the final Group H match at Bukit Timah Field 1. The Brits go through as group winners with maximum points following this and their 3-1 win over the Vipers three weeks ago.
A win by 2 goals or more for OCBC with more than 4 goals scored would have seen the Vipers eliminated from the Cup, but as it is this result sees the Vipers through to the round of 16 as runners-up of Group H, with the Cactusians now facing one of the Group winners from the other groups. In another exciting round of EFL Cup matches last weekend, 11 teams booked their places in the next round.
Cup holders Sofeene FC are through to the next round following their 1-1 draw with Cochise Kings in Group A, while Qualifying Division rivals Happyfeet FC go through as possible group winners from Group B, with Club Futbol De Bishan Pak and Team Orange both looking to join them in the final round of matches.
Other Qualifying Division clubs had mixed fortunes, with Hibernians United going through as runners-up in Group F, but there was no joy for Schwarz Star FC and Rampant Lions, who were both eliminated from this year's competition after failing to make the top two in their respective Groups.
