EFL Qualifying Division round-up: J-Heat triumphed over CBD
Reported by: EFL Correspondent

Japanese side J-Heat bounced back from last week’s defeat to clinch a massive win against CBD Wanderers at Ang Mo Kio Secondary School. Scoring a 6-1 score-line, J-Heat is looking to push themselves up the table with the well-earned three points.

Title challengers Team Orange and Olympique Gaulois played to an entertaining 3-3 classic draw at Henderson Secondary School. Team Orange struck the late equalizer via a terrific free kick which was arguably the last kick of the game. With current leaders Avengers leading by four points and two games in hand, both Orange and Olympique Gaulois were disappointed not to get maximum points and would see this as two points dropped rather than one point gained.

Rejuvenated Rampant Lions, who was impressive in the form of late, continued their winning streak with a solitary 1-0 win over Allianz FC at Tanglin Secondary School. Irish side Hibernians Legends, looking to cement its place in the fourth position, overcame Rome Eleven with a comfortable score-line of 3-1 at Commonwealth Pitch.

The match between Maoists FC and BLAS at Broadrick Secondary was unfortunately being called off due to the heavy showers earlier in that morning.
