EFL Qualifying Division round-up: Rampant Lions’ impressive form continues
Reported by: EFL Correspondent

Current league leaders Avengers took another stumble in their race towards the title after a goalless stalemate with British Club Second XI at Bukit Timah Field. After two consecutive draws, Avenger’s lead on the top is now reduced to three points with a game in hand.

At Bedok View Secondary School, Bishane Pak trounced CBD Wanderers 6-1, leaping to the 11th spot with four more games to be played in the season. Fourth placed Hibernians Legends played to an exciting 2-2 draw with Club M at PSA Pitch. The sharing of points had also concluded Hibernians’ hopes of getting into the top three with just three more games to play.

The biggest winners of the weekend belonged to Rampant Lions, who is on hot impressive form with a magnificent 8-0 victory over BLAS at Tanglin Secondary School. The Lions has incredibly climbed their way up to the 9th position from the root of the table. Olympique Gaulois overtook Team Orange to second place with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Singapore Vipers AS whose poor streak of form continues at Henderson Secondary School.

Rome Eleven got their sixth win of the season with a narrow 2-1 win over J-Heat at Commonwealth Pitch. Japanese side J-Heat has since dropped to 10th position of the table.
