SFI League - Royal Bank of Scotland continued their tremendous start to the campaign with winning four out of four games with a convincing 3-0 victory over UBS at AR-JAS field. Sitting comfortably with 12 points at the top, RBS is definitely showing their intentions early this season. UBS, on the other hand got their first defeat of the season so far.
Bank of America of Merrill Lynch finally got their first point after putting a decent performance against JP Morgan, earning a tight 1-1 affair at Commonwealth Pitch. JP Morgan remained one of the very few teams to be undefeated in four games.
In an exciting yet heated encounter game at Springfield Secondary, Citibank Changi saw off CombineOne to a narrow 3-2 win, getting their first win of the season. Two players from both sides were sent off for fighting in the midst of the game but the heated argument was quickly cooled off by the rest of the players. Julius Baer climbed to fourth position with a comfortable 3-0 win over Morgan Stanley at Henderson Secondary School. Despite having players confronting each other during the game, there were no players being sent off or fights involved in another heated match.
Ernst & Young’s huge victory over Accenture at Ang Mo Kio Secondary saw them scoring full marks so far this season, winning three out of three. The 5-2 win score-line put EY into second position, just three points behind current leaders RBS.
