FAA would like to congratulate Fandi Ahmad for being invited to attend a prestigious 2-week football training stint in Germany, at the Bundesliga club FC Schalke  04, from 21st July 2012 to 5th August 2012.

 

"I feel honoured to be invited to be part of a very impressive football project in Germany. I believe that this training stint will be a fantastic learning opportunity for me as a coach and I will be looking forward to studying and understanding their coaching techniques and methods under their youth development programme."

 

Fandi shares that the two weeks training stint in Germany will be an eventful trip as he looks forward to learning the tricks of the trade from one of the leading football youth system in the world.

 

"Germany has one of the best youth set-up in terms of football and as a coach, I feel very excited to be given the opportunity to discover their training system and assess how their successful methodologies could be useful to the progress and development to the youths here in FAA."

 

"I hope that through this trip, I would be able to inspire a culture that emphasizes the development of local talent in a form of a successful youth set-up here in Singapore."
