In a match that is built on a tradition of competitiveness much like a local derby, the Scots emerged triumphant although the match was not without its moments of tension. The win sees St Andrew’s go level with Titans on 10 points, although the Titans have played 3 matches less than the Scots. French outfit Olympique Gaulois edged Cochise Kings with a 1-0 victory, with the match marred by some incidents that is likely to be dealt with by the EFL organisers.

In the Qualifying division, British Club 2XI got back to winning ways in sensational fashion, hammering a transitional Happyfeet FC 8-0 on their home patch. A Nick Groth hattrick, a brace each for Mangham and De Matteis and a solitary strike from Burningham sealed the Brits’ biggest win of the season. At AR-JAS, Schwarz Star FC recorded a 5-1 win over a depleted J-Heat side, who decided to abandon the match by walking off with 7 men at the break. The result will stand, with EFL looking to dock 2 points from J-Heat as further punishment for their ill discipline.

In EFL Cup action, CBD Wanderers and Kool N the Gang played out a 3-3 draw at Bukit Timah Field in a see-saw of a game. The match saw the Wanderers first take the lead, before Kool N the Gang fought back to lead 2-1. CBD Wanderers restored their lead to go 3-2 up again before a late leveler from KNTG meant that the first leg would end in a tie.
