Our OPOD featured player this week is defensive starlet Soh Say Kwan. The tall and lanky 21 year-old may still be at the start of his footballing career, but he has already accumulated a wealth of playing experience and silverware with top amateur club sides that others can only dream of.

Having a playing CV that includes illustrious names such as Team Beyond Imagination, FC204 and FC Protégé ESPZEN, Say Kwan was also part of the Ang Mo Kio United set up that gained promotion to the NFL Division 1 this season.

His main attributes include a fantastic reading of the game, composure, great pace and good tackling ability, while he has also improved tremendously in the range and accuracy of his passing.

Coveted by a long list of amateur football sides in the country, Say Kwan has impressed many with his performances and astounding progress over the past few years alone.

His talent and promise has not gone unnoticed and he was given the highest accolade possible when he was recently signed up by S-League side Gombak United to mark the start of hopefully a successful professional career. One of the youngsters to watch out in the S-league next season.
